As the event was organized at the beginning of our semester, our goal was that Erasmus students will have the opportunity to meet other Erasmus and local students in a fun way. When organizing this event, we thought about the students that may be shy and may face difficulties in meeting new people while they are in a new country, far from their hometown, with no one to know.
Firstly, everyone took a piece of paper from a basket. According to what was written on their piece of paper, they had to find their match (e.g. mickey- minnie). Their match was the first person they got to talk with for 10 minutes in order to get to know each other. Every 10 minutes, half of them stood up and sat at the next table in order to meet another person. We also provided them some topics (e.g. Where do you see yourslef in 10 years) that they could use if they wanted.
