The aim of the event was to promote cultural and social inclusion with the help of movies, art, music and culture.
The Festival delle Culture (Festival of Cultures) was organised by L’Aquila Film Festival, with the participation of Aquilasmus-ESN L’Aquila. With the aim of promoting knowledge and inclusion between cultures of all over the world (with a focus on non-Western ones), the event spanned over four days and included the projection of international movies, performative moments and discussion panels. The event brought together the local community, our international students and other foreigner residents, while promoting the work of international directors and movies dealing with themes such as marginalisation, death, recent and past wars and lgbtq+ struggles.
