As we all know the current situation in Ukraine is very hard for people who stayed in their country as well as for people who decided to flee. Being aware of this difficult situation, we wanted to contribute to bringing at least the smallest smile on the faces of Ukrainian children. The purpose of our event was to detach them from the reality in which they find themselves and make them at least a little bit of joy. Additionally, we wanted to show the students from abroad that unfortunately the current situation is very hard and quite overwhelming, and every little help counts.
As we all know the current situation in Ukraine is very hard for people who stayed in their country as well as for people who decided to flee. Being aware of this difficult situation, we wanted to contribute to bringing at least the smallest smile on the faces of Ukrainian children. Together with a group of foreign students, we went to the headquarters of the "Nidaros" Foundation at 69 Kalwaryjska Street, where we spent a few hours playing with the children. At the beginning we all listened to a Ukrainian fairy tale read by one of our students of Ukrainian descent. The children listened with interest to the story. However, the biggest attraction were the balloons. Children received balloon dogs and crowns from us. In the meantime we were coloring with them coloring books, playing and dancing.
