The main aim of this initiative is to raise awareness about the Erasmus+ programme and to inspire local students to participate in mobility programmes by presenting the benefits and cultural experiences gained through Erasmus. Additionally, it aims to bring students from various countries together, enhancing cultural understanding and providing a unique opportunity to taste and learn about different cultures.
The Exchange Zone is a vibrant event organized to inspire and inform Polish students about opportunities for international mobility, such as the Erasmus+ programme and other exchange initiatives. This event creates a space for participants to explore various mobility options and learn directly from peers who have experienced studying or volunteering abroad, as well as from those who are currently doing their Erasmus in Poland. The event is divided into two parts. The first focuses on promoting different mobility opportunities through engaging discussions and presentations, providing students with practical information and motivation to explore various options for studying or volunteering abroad. This edition highlighted France and Spain as the theme countries. A special guest from the Institute of France shared valuable insights about studying in France, including double diplomas and other academic opportunities, while students and volunteers provided information about Spain. The second part celebrates cultural exchange, featuring Erasmus students currently studying in Poland. These students shared insights about their home countries, offering a unique perspective on their cultures and traditions. To make the experience even more immersive, the event concluded with a tasting session of homemade traditional dishes prepared by the international students, allowing participants to enjoy the flavors of France, Spain, and other cuisines while fostering intercultural dialogue.
