We had two main goals: to introduce participants to different European Nations (and beyond Europe) through the stories of people coming from all of those places, and to talk about various European and non-European mobility projects with two members of the International Relations Office of the University of Pisa.
The conference was held in the University of Pisa and had as guests the Section President, the Press Officer of ESN Italia and two representatives of two distinct Units of the International Relations Office of the University of Pisa.
The first part of the conference touched on the themes of European and non-European mobility. In fact, one of our main objectives was not to be limited to Europe alone but to go "beyond", as underlined by the title, in order not to exclude that part of international students in Pisa from non-European countries.
In the second part of the event, international students were the main characters. Each student had 5 minutes to present their nation, telling about a place, a tradition, a habit and\or anything through which they could feel represented. We had the presentation about Indonesia, Spain, Belgium, Mexico, Kenya and South Africa.
Later, through the collaboration with the University of Pisa, we dined for free in the central canteen (Mensa Martiri) of the University.
