Goal of the Activity

Project aimed at addressing a central problem: insufficient knowledge about the Erasmus+ programme and opportunities it provides for young people, caused by the pandemic situation. Its objectives included:

  • organising a series of online initiatives, equally accessible for all of the participants of the project,
  • organising a co-funded physical event, which provided an opportunity for all participants to engage in the physical training, regardless of their financial situation,
  • providing the participants with the opportunity to develop soft skills and hard skills which are valuable on the labour market, with special focus on the skills not present in regular academic curriculum such as debating or autopresentation,
  • providing an opportunity for the participants to facilitate their Erasmus-oriented training with help of their Erasmus+ Alumni mentors,
  • creating accessible and open to everyone materials on the new perspective of the Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 by the EuroAmbassadors,
  • creating internally available for the volunteers of ESN Poland Training Session Outlines covering various aspects of the priorities of the new perspective of the Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 by the EuroAmbassadors
  • organising an online webinar about one of the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme - Environment and fight against climate change, dedicated to spreading awareness on sustainable mobility.

EuroAmbassadors Training Programme provided training for the participants who wanted to become experts in transferring knowledge about mobility. Thanks to the training, they are now a valid source of information which they spread during online and local events.

Description

In order to increase knowledge about the new perspective of the Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 and opportunities it provides for young people, as well as to combat the disinformation surrounding current mobility options, we established a network of “multipliers” who are able to disseminate information about the programme. This was achieved by organising a training programme over the period of 3,5 months, which included an online preparation phase, a physical training event for future EuroAmbassadors in Warsaw, and a series of online actions afterwards, conducted by the members of our organisation. We aimed at creating a group of trainers-multipliers, equipped with adequate knowledge and skills, who will now serve as Ambassadors for the programme at their local universities. In order to ensure high quality of the training programme, we cooperated with the Polish National Agency during the preparation period of this project and appointed trainers for training part of it based on the criterion whether they were Erasmus+ Alumni themselves.
