Goal of the Activity
ESNupgrade is designed for ESN Portugal Newbies (this includes new members who have been volunteers for less than six months, members who have yet to attend their first national event and members who might have fundamental knowledge gaps to be addressed). This event aims to tackle essential knowledge in the foundation of being an ESNer and understanding the Scope and projects developed by ESN as a whole. Content is created in response to assessed and reported needs, as well as to address present-time predicaments.
Description
- This event joined ESN newbies from all over Portugal and presented the scope of ESN's initiatives and projects, as well as training for quality work within local sections. The trainers are constituted by the National Board, the Secretariat, and experienced Youth Workers. During three days, the participants explored the structure of ESN, best practices in the local section, understanding of the Move'in Europe movement, the importance of youth and student mobility, as well as how to contribute to youth outreach for the European Elections.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
