Goal of the Activity

Originating in 1999, ESNow has since become a cherished tradition, uniting students and volunteers in a unique winter experience. The main goal of ESNow for 25 years is to share the beauty of our territory with the rest of the sections of ESN. This ELDIN also aims to give the opportunity to as many people to live a weekend of sport and fun in the Dolomites. Breath-taking landscapes and great ski runs for professionals but also beginners. In fact, it's possible to take lessons with ski instructors over the weekend at a reduced price.

ESNow is the result of months of work, in which the Organizing Committee aimed to offer participants a weekend of skiing and fun. During the afternoon the aprés skis were the time to have fun and dance together. This event likely offers a blend of adventure, cultural exchange, and camaraderie against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks and pristine nature. Participants likely engage in various winter sports and activities, such as skiing and snowboarding, and this year also ice skating. The weekend was animated by DJ sets and live music. Being an event of national interest it involved many sections and this allowed all participants, Erasmus, and volunteers, to make new friends and create important links. Beyond the thrill of outdoor adventures, ESNow likely fosters a vibrant social atmosphere where participants can forge new friendships, exchange cultural insights, and create lasting memories. It provides an opportunity for Erasmus students to immerse themselves in the local culture of the Dolomites while bonding with fellow international students and ESN volunteers.

The enduring popularity of ESNow speaks to its success in creating unforgettable experiences for participants year after year. It's more than just a winter getaway; it's a celebration of diversity, friendship, and the spirit of adventure.

Description

The event was structured over four days. The fee included food (breakfasts and dinners), accommodation, and transport on site. It was possible to rent ski or snowboard equipment at a reduced price. In addition, it was possible to take lessons in both basic and intermediate sports.
During the afternoons the apres skis were the time to have fun together thanks to the DJ sets of the local ski facility. After dinner, we had a party together. Disco parties alternated with a night at the ice rink with a live band.
The organization of the registration was entrusted in the first place to the individual sections that had to interface with the person in charge of registration of the event.
