The goal of this activity was to participate in the National Clean Up of ESN Germay. In Darmstadt we picked up trash in the Bürgerpark, while jogging around. In the end the participants had to be creative by creating an artwork with the trash they found in order to give the trash another value and to be more aware of the things people throw away. So the goal was to rise awareness of the problem and to clean up the park.
Participants were divided into groups of 3 and had 45 minutes to collect as much trash as possible. All participants should dress sporty, because we wanted to combine the whole action with some jogging. Everyone brought gloves and garbage bags or we provided them. At the end of the collection action, the teams had to create artworks from the found pieces. From the artworks, pictures were posted in the Telegram group, where all Erasmi could vote for their favorite. The winners will receive a microfiber towel from our merch collection.
