The legendary trip to the “Sattelbergalm” is happening again this semester!
Due to you completely overwhelming us with registrations, we decided to organise a second round to give more of you a chance to experience the amazing "Sattelbergalm".
What would your stay abroad in charming Tyrol be without a cozy sleepover in an alpine cottage with a stunning view, amazing traditional food, hot pot fun and sauna vibes in the Austrian Alps? Right! THE PLAN:
On Thursday, 26th May 2022, we’ll meet at 12:20 at the main railway station of Innsbruck, in front of the Info Point.
From there, we will travel to Sattelbergalm via “Vinaders”. After a little walk of approximately 1 hour (no stress, you all will be able to make it), we will arrive at our lovely destination, where we will stay the rest of the day and check in for the evening and night. Our room in the cottage – a typical “Matratzenlager” - will be dorm-like with multiple beds in one room which makes the whole trip even cozier. And then we’ll have the possibility to explore the beautiful surrounding landscape, sweat in the sauna, or hang out in the hot tub. In the evening, we will have a typical Tyrolean dinner.
The following morning, before or after breakfast, we’ll have the option to walk up to the peak of the mountain “Sattelberg” (but that’s optional – we’ll let the group dynamic decide). We will get back to Innsbruck around noon/early in the afternoon.

HARD FACTS:
* the trip lasts from Thursday, 26th May at 12:20 to Friday, 27th May in the early afternoon
* traditional Tyrolean dinner (vegetarian, vegan option as well, please in the registration form )
* sleepover at the “Sattelbergalm”
PRICE:
1) Base fee: (including overnight stay, Tyrolean dinner and breakfast)
Base fee for ESNcard holders: 50€
Base fee without ESNcard: 55€
2) Transportation extra:
- normal price: 9,40€
- ÖBB Vorteilscard holders: 5,70€
- VVT Land ticket (semester ticket for all of Tirol) holders: free transportation
Don't forget to bring along some extra money for sauna & hot pot (8€), drinks or if you want to rent a towel or snow shoes, in case there is snow.
It's really important that you take good hiking shoes (no sneakers)!

Keep in mind that the spots are limited (group of 29 people) and are sold on a first come, first served basis, so you better be quick! Cancellation policy: refund possible till 20th of May.

At 12:49 we start from the main station at platform 4 with the train "S3" direct to Brennero.
We arrive at 13:10 at the station of Steinach am Brenner at platform 1 and then we have to take the bus 4145 (Plattform A) at 13:15, to arrive at vinanders at 13:27.
From there we where walk more or less one hour to the Alm.
