THE PLAN:

On Friday, 24th March 2023, we’ll meet at 12:00 (the LATEST, better be a few minutes early, you might want to get some fortifying beverage for the road) at the main railway station of Innsbruck, in front of the Info Point (inside the building, big screen downstairs where you can see all train departures).

From there, we will travel to Sattelbergalm via Vinaders. After a little walk of maximum 1.5 hours (no worries, you all will be able to make it), we will arrive at our lovely destination, where we will stay the rest of the day and check in for the evening and night. Our room in the cottage – a typical “Matratzenlager” - will be dorm-like with multiple beds in one room which makes the whole trip even cozier. And then we’ll have the possibility to explore the beautiful surrounding landscape, sweat in the sauna, or hang out in the hot tub. In the evening, we will have a Tyrolean dinner very typical for this time of the year (vegetarian options possible).

The following morning, before or after breakfast, we’ll have the option to walk up to the peak of the mountain “Sattelberg” (but that’s optional – we’ll let the group decide. Some people scale the mountain twice, right after arrival and again next day). We will get back to Innsbruck around noon/early in the afternoon.
