Have you always wanted to see more of the Netherlands outside of Nijmegen?
ESN Nijmegen is taking you on a trip to a lovely, typical Dutch city: Utrecht!
Walk through the narrow streets, look at the cute canals and enjoy a day with great new people.
We are planning on taking the train from Nijmegen to Utrecht in the morning. We offer you the possibility to join a group ticket for the train or to use your own transportation card. When signing up you can choose between those two options.
What can you expect? First we stroll through the streets while getting to know interesting facts and stories about the city. Afterwards it is time for a lunch break. You can choose if you would like to go to a restaurant (for this you can only join with your QR code from your proof of vaccination or recovery OR with "testen voor toegang" (https://www.testenvoortoegang.org/)) or bring your own lunch. We also plan to see Utrecht from high above! That means we will climb up the Dom tower. Luckily, there still is enough time to explore Utrecht a bit by yourself! We will make sure that we have some recommendations for you on what you could do. At the end of the day we will travel back to Nijmegen together by train.
