Show members more of the Netherlands than just Nijmegen. We will tell them a lot about Dutch politics, as we'll be going to the Dutch political capital. Furthermore, they get the opportunity to see a great museum and to see the lovely beach of Scheveningen.
Have you always wanted to visit the beautiful dutch royal city Den Haag? ESN Nijmegen takes you on a day trip to Den Haag and to the famous beach side Scheveningen! Enjoy exploring the Netherlands while getting to know great new people.
We have planned to take the train from Nijmegen to Den Haag in the morning. Thereby we offer you the possibility to join a group ticket for the train and tram together or to take your own transportation card. When signing up you can choose between those two options.
What can you expect?
We will start with a thrilling city tour to get to know Den Haag. We will walk along the lovely canals and cute streets. Afterwards it’s time to grab a small lunch before we are heading off to the Escher Museum. In that museum which is located in the building of the former winter residence of queen Wilhelmina we can admire the art of Illusion. You can be curious! In the afternoon we will take you by tram to the beach and the pier in Schevenigen. There you will have some free time until we meet again for a well- deserved dinner in a restaurant.
At the end of the day, we will take the train back to Nijmegen
