Goal of the Activity
The main idea is to enable our ESN Poland members to get prepared for stepping into the labour market and make them aware of the skills they developed during the ESN career as well as their importance in their future job.
The objectives are:
- Introducing our volunteers to different steps of recruitment procedures and helping them with developing skills which are useful during this process,
- Providing knowledge on CV creation, job interviews, assessment centres etc.,
- Raising awareness about skills developed within ESN and how ESN contributes to employability,
- Acquainting our volunteers with different paths and possibilities pursued by our Alumni in various fields.
Description
It is a series of connected activities provided by the HR Committee of ESN Poland. Each year, there is a new Action Plan of the initiative created which reflects the aims of long-term Strategy of ESN Poland and responds to current expectations of our volunteers which are defined each year during the needs assessment carried out by the National Training Coordinator.
Every year there are following activities organised:
- Facebook campaigns - posts regarding CV creation tips, job interviews, LinkedIn accounts etc.; usually each month is devoted to slightly different topic,
- Online workshops provided by external companies or our ESN Poland trainers (specialised and professionally experienced in HR field); they cover different steps of recruitment process, competences recognition or some job search related guidance,
- Alumni panels - online open spaces devoted to different fields (HR, IT, communication etc.) where our Alumni present their professional paths and explain how their activity in ESN contributed to their future career,
- Guides on different job search related topics which are published on Facebook and available on wiki.esn.pl,
- Facebook group “Career in/after ESN” (“Kariera w/po ESN”) where our volunteers and Alumni share job offers; the group is moderated by ESN on the Labour Market Coordinator.
