Goal of the Activity
to bring different social and ethnical groups of society together, to challenge (and overcome) prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination in society, and to learn, educate, and change attitudes.
Description
Imagine "borrowing" a person for a couple of minutes instead of borrowing a book for a couple of weeks. Each of these "human books", volunteers, will be available for a conversation with people throughout the event, and help participants challenge their own preconceptions and ideas about people who come from different backgrounds.
