ESN FINT & TIPSY Halloween Sitsit

Dear members of ESN FINT and Tipsy

We’re pleased to inform you that you have been invited to our Halloween themed sitsit on the 31st of October.

Please find enclosed a list of all necessary information:

Sitsit, known as an academic table party, is a big part of Finnish student culture. In this Halloween themed sitsit you will be gathering together in costumes for a spooky evening singing and drinking!

The ticket includes a savoury tasty snack in addition to a fresh pizza slice and desert. Plus two drinks of your choice (beer or cider), as well as 3 shots. Note that sitsis are not meant to fill you up, so you might want to have something beforehand, and don't forget to bring along some more drinks that would last you throughout the whole sitsit!

If this is your first time reading about the word "sitsit", it might all sound confusing, but once you step into the alternative reality of sitsit, you’ll understand why it’s one of the dearest event concepts for the Finnish students.

This sitsit will be held completely in English. There will be a costume competition, so make sure to try your best if you'd like to win the prize! We will be waiting for you at bar Kaijakka to continue the night and keep the party going!

The event as for members only! Make sure that your membership is activated in time before the sales, or you will not be able to get a ticket.

ESN FINTin järjestämät tapahtumat ovat avoimia kaikille kansainvälismielisille opiskelijoille, mukaan lukien suomalaiset tutkinto-opiskelijat! Tulkaa rohkeasti vaan mukaan tapahtumiimme nauttimaan kansainvälisestä ilmapiiristä 😊. Tiedoksi vielä että näissä tapahtumissa ensisijainen käyttökieli on englanti, mutta usein vaihtarit haluavat myös kovasti harjoitella suomen kielen käyttämistä.
