Goal of the Activity
Show the international students the archeaological site of the Urban Undergrounds of Foggia.
Description
We started the tour with our expert official guide Franca Palese (member of the Associazione Ipogei Foggia) at the Archivolto del Palazzo di Federico II (one of the last remainings of the palace preserved at ground level), continuing to the Urban Undergrounds where other parts of the medieval palace are still being excavated, then moving to the Chiesa di Maria Santissima della Misericordia in whose undergrounds have been found other rooms, restored to look like how they used to in their original state.
