The goal of the activity was to bring Erasmus students in the local primary school to achieve intercultural dialogue, intercultural exchange, encourage pupils to travel and to learn about other countries.
We had two different activities in the same class in the primary school Ivan Meštrović.
On Tuesday, three Erasmus students (from Bulgaria, Spain and Germany) delivered a workshop of 45 minutes about Christmas and holiday traditions in their countries and we talked about differences between their countries and Croatia.
On Thursday, other three students (from Japan) came to the same class and taught pupils about Japanese culture. Pupils learnt basics of Japanese langugue, how to eat with chopsticks and calligraphy.
Pupils were all very excited to meet students from different cultures, they were participating and asking questions to the students and wished to meet them again.
