Educate the 11th grade students of the local gymnasium about Erasmus+ opportunities and how they can benefit from taking part in a mobility.
Promote ESN as an international community which helps prepare for Erasmus exchange and master various soft and hard skills. Connect to local high school students in Tallinn.
On March 7th, 3 representatives of ESN Tallinn were invited to give a lecture to the students of Tallinna Pelgulinna Riigigumnaasium (Tallinn Pelgulinna Public Gymnasium). The ESN members shared information about different types of mobility (Erasmus+ long- and short-term mobility, volunteering with ESC, Erasmus Mundus etc.) and which opportunities each one of them gives. The speakers shared their own experiences with Erasmus and encouraged the participants to go abroad for studies or volunteering. After the official info session the participants split in 3 groups for the "human library" activity, during which ESN Tallinn members could share more details and answer the questions. Many students showed great interest in applying for Erasmus and actively engaged with the speakers.
After the lecture, the gymnasium students showed the visitors around the school and told them about their studying routine and educational system.
