- share cultures and break cultural stereotypes
- promote mobilities and exchange programmes
- inspire the local students to be more open, travel or even study abroad
- inform about the ESN
As we are used to organizing EiS each semester, we tried to find a way how to do it online. For the first time in this activity, we also got together as ESN Brno United, so that the reach could be higher.
We contacted Erasmus students that already participated in the autumn Erasmus in Schools and about who we knew they would be interested in doing it again. We approached two high schools with an offer and in the hope of finding a way that would fit both sides. In the end, we decided to hold the presentations via Zoom.
We had four different classes, in each of them we introduced the project, ESN and Erasmus+ programme in general, and then one or two Erasmus students per class had a presentation about their country and their Erasmus experience. Plus in the end, there was also time for a discussion.
We were actually surprised that the activity went that well - the attendance was around 15 students per class, they were asking questions and everyone looked satisfied with the result. So for sure, it was a great idea!
