ESN Siena GES visited two schools. This is the second one that is IIS Amedeo Avogadro
The objective of the day was to create a direct connection between international students and younger students ready to face a possible university future. This is to ensure that younger people really understand the fortune they have in being European, in being able to choose with extreme ease a new country in which to live a specific period of their academic career, in learning new languages, in approaching new cultures and to create solid international friendships.
On 25 September 2023, ESN Siena GES participated, in collaboration with the Monte Amiata Mining Museum National Park and the Europe Direct Center of the University of Siena, in a day of meetings between different European generations. In the morning the group, made up of volunteers and Erasmus students, visited TWO high schools. At first there was direct interaction between the high school students and the Erasmus students through a small activity in which the latter introduced themselves in Italian and the former tried to guess their nationality. Afterwards, to make everything more engaging, the Erasmus students wrote some words in their language and the students tried to guess the correct pronunciation.
