The main aim of the event was to educate students on lower levels of education about the
Erasmus experience, and maybe even motivate them to take part in an Erasmus program in the
future themselves. As stated by our volunteers, the teenagers seemed eager to learn and
listened to Emmanuele and Joaquín thoroughly up until it was their turn to ask questions. Given
the success of the activity, ESN Santiago de Compostela decided to look into organizing more
Erasmus in Schools in the following years.
With the help of a PowerPoint presentation provided by ESN España, our Erasmus students
Emmanuele and Joaquín shared their experience as international students with the teens at the
school, giving them relevant information about the Erasmus process and opportunities such as
the different kinds of exchange programs there are. At the end, there was a question round in
which the students were able to voice out their doubts or simply ask for more information or
details.
