As part of the Erasmus Generation in Action (EGiA) project, the objective of this event was to promote and encourage student participation in volunteering at home or abroad.
We strongly believe that we can connect the best through social inclusion – we have chosen a sign language workshop to support our EGiA volunteering promotion project, because it is a tool we can give the participants to use at home, in their communities whether it is in a different country or in Hungary.
With the help of a representative of TIP (Tudatos Ifjúséágért Program) and the mentors of ESN Szeged, we have organized an event where we informed the participants about the opportunities in Hungary to volunteer, discussed with them the European Union and the upcoming European Parliament elections, and showed them how important it is to volunteer – through a special Social Inclusion activity – sign language.
