Goal of the Activity

The aim of the activity is to inform local and international students at the University of Macerata that they can take part in various Erasmus mobility projects during their studies, also bringing with them different experiences from other students and/or teachers. Moreover, it was an opportunity to talk about and promote ESN, as it can be an opportunity to involve local students in experiencing an international environment, without or after having experienced a period of mobility.

Description

The activity took place in the presence of various professors, each representing their own faculty, who explained in detail which Erasmus agreements were ideal to choose and include in the curriculum according to the subjects offered by the foreign universities. Next came the IRO, the International Relations Office, which explained the Erasmus bureaucracy in detail, from enrolment, the required language levels, the ranking list, accepting or refusing the scholarship, what it consists of and what it includes, and further recommendations regarding the accreditation of exams.
This was followed by a report on the experiences of two of our ESN volunteers who took part in the two Erasmus Study and Traineeship projects, including various tips and special anecdotes.
Finally, the event ended with the presentation of ESN Macerata, which told in a general way what ESN is, its origins, what it does and what experiences it offers in the European and international student field.
