Our goal was to organize an inclusive as possible environment for all genders to play basketball. We wanted to offer everybody a free to attend opportunity for playing organized sports. This was as very well received event because we hosted it in the beginning of the cold season. This way we also kept place of the parks and outdoors sports that are no longer available due to the bad weather.
The competition was a 3X3 basketball tournament. We had a total of approximately 30 participants and 2 referees. Our partner university welcomed and offered us a gym that we split in 2. This way we managed to play simultaneously 2 matches, at all times. This way we managed to keep everybody involved and offer each team a minimum of 3 matches. The 3 best teams got to play an additional match for the finals.
We provided water for everybody and took photos and videos of each player and team.
It seemed like a well received event. The majority of our participants made a point out of thanking us for organizing.
