The goal of the activity was to bring together youths from around Bulgaria to have a discussion on key topics, generate questions, ideas and recommendations. The National Dialogue consists of four panels related to the topics and are led by experts in the respective field so that the event is fruitful and contributes to raising awarenes and to the local and national develompent.
Our organizational team planned the agenda more than two months in advance of the project, set the date, sent the invitations to our institutional partners and booked a conference room. The event took place in the House of Europe in Sofia, which was kindly offered to us by the National Representation of the European Parliament in Bulgaria, who also collaborated with us on providing welcome packages and informational materials to all of our participants.
The format of the National Event included introductions of the organizers, brief summary of the project on the international, national and local level and four panels. Each panel’s topic was chosen specifically to emphasize on the important priorities of the Erasmus + programme and the European Year of Youth. The panels were dedicated to the following areas: Digitalisation, Youth Engagement, Social Inclusion, and Sustainability and were led by a moderator and a few panelists - experts in the respective fields.
The participants were really interested and had many ideas, proposals and recommendations.
