ESN Vilnius University invites students to an immersive evening of cinema, history, and discussion at Echoes of Lithuania: Movie Night. Participants watch Ashes in the Snow (2018), a powerful Lithuanian film based on the novel Between Shades of Gray, which depicts the harrowing experiences of a young girl deported to Siberia during the Soviet occupation. The screening offers a deep and emotional exploration of Lithuania’s past, shedding light on the resilience and struggles of those affected by historical events.
