In the spirit of the Easter holidays we'll have an Easter Brunch on discord: https://discord.gg/pAxNyjauqv - for those of you who are not used to the concept of brunch: in Germany, we love to extend our breakfast until lunchtime, especially on holidays and Sundays.

If you also feel like preparing a cake for your brunch here's a recipe idea for a carrot cake:
Ingredients:
- 12 slices of rusk
- 5 eggs
- 250g sugar
- 250g ground hazelnuts
- 250g rasped carrots
- juice and peel of 1 lemon
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 200g chocolate glaze
Crumble the rusk into fine pieces, beat and froth the egg yolk and sugar together to a foaming paste, add hazelnuts, baking soda, carrots, lemon peel and juice, as well as the crumbled rusk. Whip the egg white until stiff, and carefully fold it into the batter. Bake at 175°-195° C for 1h, then cover the top with a chocolate glaze.
