The goal of the activity was introducing Dolmabahce Palace where Atatürk lived and died, also visiting Painting Museum and tasting our one of the traditional foods.
The grand and impressive Dolmabahçe Palace is one of the most popular places in Istanbul where the last 6 sultans and our beloved founder of the Turkish Republic, Atatürk lived and died.
In addition to Dolmabahçe, we will visit the National Palaces Painting Museum which exhibits more than 200 paintings that have been once on the walls of the national palaces!
Afterwards, we went to the close-by Ortaköy, seeing one of the most beautiful mosques of the city and the breathtaking Bosphorus view with a great number of pigeons
We ate a signature dish to Ortaköy called “kumpir”, which is basically a baked potato with many ingredients.
