The main idea of Social Impact Days is to highlight the impact that international students can have on society. The days foster the active engagement of exchange students with their local communities, in all kinds of initiatives that can make a positive impact.
The Social Impact Days aim to make mobilities more impactful and more inclusive. It's both about improving mobility programs and making them more accessible to everyone.
Specifically, we are offering you to take part in visiting an animal shelter (“Zoorassvet”) and surround some cute cats and dogs with warmth and love. Not only will you make the animals happy, but also, possibly, engage yourself into a new activity of noble and kind nature, committing to a Moscow volunteering life!
WHEN: December, 1, 14:00-17:00
WHERE: the meeting point is Chkalovskaya metro station (exit #5). Then, we are going to the shelter by suburban train.
WHY: to become an important part of local life and to squeeze cats and dogs of course!
WHAT TO TAKE: masks, gloves, passport (or ID), some food or toys for animals (if you want to). We usually donate around 100₽ each (or more if you want).
