Goal of the Activity
The aim of this activity was to show international students some great masterpieces by some Venetian artists.
Description
We went to see the famous works in Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, which holds the most important collection of Venetian painting in the world. The exhibition ranges from 14th-century to 18th-century painting. The architectural complex that now houses the Gallerie dell'Accademia is made up of several historic buildings: the Church of *Santa Marta della Carità *complex also includes the monastery, whose sixteenth-century section was designed by the genius Palladio, as well as the Scuola Grande.
