Goal of the Activity

- to break stereotypes and taboo about blind people

- to show our international students how to guide and how to help people with visual impairment or blindness

Description

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be blind? What is it like to do daily activities such as eating, drinking or walking when you can’t see anything?
Together with our special guest, amazing exchange student Benny, who is blind, we will try to present you what you need to know about helping a blind person, and you will have a chance to experience several activities yourselves. Last not least, you will have a chance to mindfully focus on your other senses during the dinner.
What to expect:
- Brief presentation about visual impairment with Benny
- A quick guide and practice of how to guide a blind person
- sense-focused activities
- Yummy dinner
