The goal was to show students what daily life can be like for a visually impaired person.
Exchange students came to the Teiresiás centre at the Masaryk University, which helps students with any kind of disability or health inconvenience. At first there was a discussion with a blind former MUNI student who now successfully works in IT. Students were able to ask questions about anything, from studies, through professional life, to personal life of the blind person. Then they got blindfolded and tried serving, eating and drinking food and drinks that ESNers cooked and prepared. After that there was a workshop about how to properly guide a blind or visually impaired person - the students paired up, one had a blindfold and one served as a guide. They took a tour through the building and then exhanged roles.
