Goal of the Activity
- - the international students got to know the Czech Easter traditions
- - they got to taste some typical Czech Easter treats
- - they learnt about other cultures´ traditions as well as we had a discussion about it
Description
The aim is to present some of the Czech Easter traditions to the international students. We have presented pomlázka, eggs-decorating, řehtačka and the way Easter is celebrated here. Also, the students got to try braiding pomlázka, they decorated some eggs and tasted mazanec and lamb cake (typical Czech Easter treats). Finally, they took a kahoot quiz, the winner of which won another lamb cake to take home with them. We also taught them some Easter carols and talked about Easter traditions from all around the world.
