Share knowledge and experiences about important social topics in an informed manner.

Description

Starting May 2021, the ISB Community, HAN International Office, Arnhem Student Point and ESN Nijmegen launch a series of get-togethers called Culture Club. Every few months, the focus is on a different topic of interest to us all. On Thursday 20 May at 17:00 we kick off with the first online event themed FREEDOM.

Sounds like something you don't want to miss? Then join the club! Culture Club welcomes and invites all students from all institutions to:

* listen to our podcasts leading up to the event in which students from different backgrounds discuss what freedom means to them, what responsibilities come with personal freedom and the fine line between freedom of expression and discrimination

* learn from our keynote speaker from Radboud University, prof. dr. R.B.T. Tinnevelt (Ronald) addressing various aspects of freedom and security and how this is affected by the current pandemic

* share your personal thoughts and sentiments in a lively discussion following the  professor's masterclass
