Goal of the Activity
Prejudice and solidarity, discrimination and hope are the main themes of the movie we offered: Pride (2014) and the goal was to make the participant discuss and reflect about them.
Description
We watch together Pride (2014), a biopic about a group of London-based LGBT activists raising money and providing help to the families of the Welsh miners involved in the 1984-1985 strike, and after the movie we discuss the main topic of the movie, discrimination of minority, strike and job rights, right of protest and how it has change in time (movie vs now) and the difference in various countries.
