The goal of the activity was to help the international students to discover Madrid from a direct point of view, in a fun yet complete way, while also providing a secure and healthy activity in agreement with the current pandemic situation in the city.
Following the fashion of a gymkhana, each team (formed by two groups of five international students and a group of four) was given an 'ESN passport': a guide book with activities related to typical customs in Madrid, such as eating grapes at Sol or sending a picture of the shows in a local theatre. Each team developed a strategy to reach each place as soon as possible, taking special caution on not mixing with other teams (as the current health ministry suggests).
All the participants had a small prize in the end, like magnets featuring landmarks of Madrid.
