Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity were:

  • promoting zero waste
  • sharing a common vegeterian Italian recipe realised with food leftovers
  • raising awareness and giving information about how to held sustainable lifestyle and diet
Description

During the Days before the event itself, we made an Instagram campaign with quiz and informative stories about the importance of avoiding food waste in order to reduce our environmental impact. So, we shared a recipe made up with leftovers like bread, cheese and tomato sauce.

Finally, during the call on zoom, we showed how to prepare the recipe online while discussing about the topic of zero waste and sustainable diet and lifestyle. One of our volunteers, who is vegan, also talked about this type of diet and its benefits for the environment.
