This was the first activity we made for the SAMISI project (Stimulating Awareness on Migration through Integration and Social Inclusion), powered by ESN Italia and ESAA. We took the chance to organize this activity to raise awareness on issues such as migration, cultural diversity and social inclusion, through the points of view of the University and local voluntary associations.
A conference was organized to raise awareness on the issues of immigration, cultural diversity and social inclusion. There was a comparison between the different realities with the aim of having an exchange of opinions and useful ideas to achieve greater awareness and on how to structure a bridge between volunteering and social inclusion. There were guests and speakers from the University of Macerata, a member of ESN Italy, Polo9, ESN Macerata and ACSIM. At the end of the conference an aperitif was organized in a local in the center.
