Goal of the Activity

The event aims to let Erasmus people know the neighborhood of Vomero.

Description

Vomero is a district of Naples which distinguishes itself for the presence of a "parallel" historical center with a lot of commercial activities. Most of all, the neighborhood is famous for the amazing panoramic views one can see from there. These views are able to cover the entirety of Naples and surroundings. The tour started with the visit of one of the most beatiful green areas in Naples, the so called Villa Floridiana. In there, a terrace in which you can observe all the city of Naples from above is present, as well as a famous ceramic museum and a little roman-greek style architectures. Beside other stops, the other pearl of the tour is Sant'Elmo castle, i.e. the higher place of Naples with an astonishing 360° view. Just below the castle, there is a famous museum/church complex called "Certosa di San Martino". A visit in this museums may also be planned in the near future.
