Goal of the Activity
The event aims to have International Students in Naples discover Rione Sanità, an historical neighbourhood in Naples that stilll stays true to its tradition.
Description
The tour starts at the Materdei metro stop and follows a route through the following landmarks:
- Basilica di Santa Maria della Sanità
- Ospedale di San Gennaro
- Casa di Totò (Antonio de Curtis)
- Palazzo San Felice
- Stop at Poppella
- Palazzo dello Spagnolo
- Porta San Gennaro
During the tour, the history of Rione Sanità and Materdei is explained, together with descriptions of all the visited landmarks.
We also stop at Poppella, one of our local partners, to have participants taste their famous and typical fiocco di neve (snowflake) pastry.
