City Tour of Florence

The city tour started at 4:00 pm in the city centre. We talked about to and  showed the erasmus students the Duomo, the Campanile di Giotto and the Battistero, citing some interesting facts about their history. We then headed towards Piazza della Repubblica and Loggia del Porcellino. After this two stops we got to take same nice pictures on the Ponte Vecchio while talking about the beautiful bridge. The next stop was Piazza della Signoria where we explained the role of Palazzo Vecchio in the history of the city and showed the the students the various sculptures in the Loggia dei Lanzi. We finished the tour around 18 in Piazza Santa Croce.
