Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to showcase our beautiful city and to let the students from ESN Salerno know a bit more about how to get around and what to see
Description
We met in Piazza del Duomo, one of the most famous squares of Florence. We started talking about the history of the Battistero and the Saint of Florence, the Duomo, the incredible work behind the Cupola di Brunelleschi, and many more.
We then moved to Piazza della Repubblica, Loggia del Porcellino where we told our students the stories behind the statue. We explained the complexity of Piazza della Signoria e Palazzo Vecchio, we walked over to Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. We finally visited the Santo Spirito, one of the most original and still traditional neighborhoods.
