Goal of the Activity
Promote culture in the city of bolzano by showing the most important historical places
Description
During the city tour we showed both the historical monuments and the most modern beauties of the city. During the walk we passed the university area, the museum of modern art (MUSEION), we passed the monument to Victory, explaining the significance this brings to a German area that has been invaded by Italians. Later we saw the area of the Petrarca Park, created to avoid the overflow of the Talvera river, we continued the tour in via Museo and under the arcades to reach Piazza del Grano with the famous weigh house, built by merchants in 1100 AD. The tour ended up in Walther von der Vogelweide square, a historic place famous for the Christmas market.
