Join us for a guided tour through the city hall!
The city hall was Designed by Friedrich Schmidt (1825-1891), it was erected between 1872 and 1883. The architecture of the Ringstraße is dominated by historicism.Today the city hall is the head office of Vienna's municipal administration. The city hall was built in gothical style, with a tower similar to gothic cathedrals.. - but more of that later! Let’s visit the building together and dive into Vienna’s history.
You might also want to check out the park in front of the city hall, it’s the venue for a lot of events throughout the year, like christmas market in December and ice skating spot in January!
