Goal of the Activity

The main goal of this activity is to introduce international students to the city of Granada and to make them aware of the history and culture heritage of the place, as well as to help them meet other students and  start being more oriented in the city center.

Description

This activity took place in the city center. The volunteers divided the participants in small groups according to the sanitary measures and trying to ensure some diversity in each group. The participants have been previously informed of the group they would be in and asked to wear some piece of clothing or accesory of a particular color.

When we met in Plaza Nueva, we explained the rules and proceding of the game to all participants, making sure there was enough interpersonal space and soon the game started. Each group was given the first clue they needed to start the game.

At this time, the volunteers were waiting for them in some spots of the city centre with cultural questions and information for them, as well as the next clue they needed to continue. The circuit was circular and each group started in a different spot.

When a group had completed the 10 different tests or little games, they had to come to the stairs in front of the cathedral and solve the final test, which was to organize the different verses of a typical little poem about the city of Granada.

The winners were the first ones to complete this task and also the most originals during the game. They were given some souvenirs of the city as a prize.
