Goal of the Activity
The main goal of the activity was to show the incoming students some of the many Christmas markets taking place in Vienna during the holiday season, and show them about the traditions and origins behind Christmas markets in Austria.
Description
ESNers made a tour around some Christmas markets (Spittelberg, MuseumsQuartier, Hofburg and Stephansplatz) and explained to the incomings about the traditional things sold there (e.g. punch and its origin) or some history behind specific market locations (Spittelberg).
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
