The main goal of the activity is for Erasmus Students to help the needy and homeless to feel warm and cozy during the wonderful festive season.
Together with our wonderful foreign students, for the second time, we supported the organization of a Warm Christmas Eve in Wrocław's Czasoprzestrzeń, for 550 people in crisis of poverty and homelessness. The first activity was to prepare decorations for the event. The participants made over 50 stars (and the ESNers made chains for Christmas trees a day later during the section meeting), which introduced a festive atmosphere in the former tram depot. Then, throughout the week preceding the event, 16 volunteers from different countries participated in all the work: from setting up tables and decorating the hall, through packing 600 food parcels, to preparing salad. The culmination of their activities was their help during Christmas Eve itself, where they served guests, portioned and distributed food, and distributed parcels. It is thanks to their commitment and hard work that we managed to create magical holidays for those most in need.
