The primary goal of this activity was to spread joy and comfort to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, by creating handmade Christmas cards filled with heartfelt messages and festive designs.
We all gathered in our university to make handmade Christmas cards for patients in the hospital during the holiday season. The goal was to bring a touch of warmth and festive cheer to those who might be spending their holidays in a healthcare setting. The participants engaged in the creation of festive cards adorned with heartfelt messages and designs. During making a lot of amazing cards we enjoyed snacks and the uplifting melodies of Christmas songs playing in the background. The cards itself are in different languages including polish, so our Erasmus students had a chance to learn how to make wishes for christmas in polish. These simple pleasures added to the camaraderie and joy permeating the room. Beyond the tangible output of the crafted cards, the event became a memorable occasion, fostering a sense of community and compassion among the participants. It was a heartwarming experience, knowing that our creative efforts would soon reach and brighten the days of those in hospital beds during the festive season.
