The goal of this activity is to create a festive and inclusive space where Erasmus students, volunteers, and members of "Talking about Autism" group can come together to engage in a creative and meaningful collaboration. Through the act of making Christmas cards, the aim is to foster connections, promote understanding, and raise awareness about autism, and disabled people in general. The event seeks to break down barriers, encourage empathy, and contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate community where everyone, regardless of background or ability, is celebrated and valued.
*The group "Talking about Autism" is a group of young people with autism, their guardians, their friends, and some volunteers (who engage in social activities with the people with autism a few hours a week)
For this event, the Erasmus Students and local volunteers gathered together and teamed up with the group "Talking about Autism" in order to craft Christmas Cards. They all gathered around a big table full of art supplies and created Christmas Cards together under the sounds of Christmas music.
